I was recently told Erika was the daughter of a famous scientist, and that she was was immersed in technology since birth. This bit of trivia was no surprise.

Her music is rigid, and calculated, yet evokes a deeply spiritual response. It is drenched in human emotion, squashed through a synthesizer, and pushed out of a speaker.

Intelligent, and sophisticated, yet primal and raw.

Basically she sounds like Even Furthur.

Beside performing and producing as Erika, for the last 20+ years Erika Sherman has run the label Interdimensional Transmissions, and performed as Ectomorph with her cohort Brendan aka BMG.

The two also run the infamous No Way Back, the juggernaught Movement Afterparty that made going to Detroit on Memorial Day Weekend worthwhile again in recent years.

When given the chance to add Erika to the line up for 2019 there was no hesitation, Kurt and I both knew she would be the perfect fit for our Friday Night!

Expect nothing less than tunes that bend spoons, and a mental inferno burning up our dusty dance floor!
